Hello,
We’re updating the Authorize.Net integration in Zoho Inventory on November 20, 2024. This update may cause payment failures in your recurring transactions if the Transaction IP velocity filter is active.
What You Need to Know About the Transaction IP Velocity Filter
The Transaction IP Velocity Filter in your Authorize.Net account is designed to prevent fraudulent activity by limiting the number of transactions from a single IP address within a specific time-frame.
However, this filter can also block legitimate recurring payments, leading to payment failures. For instance, Zoho Inventory will record the payment as usual, but payment failures might occur due to the filter.
This can happen because of the actions taken by the filter, such as holding the transaction for review, declining it, or placing it in a pending review state, which can delay or prevent legitimate recurring payments from being processed.
To continue using this integration without any payment failures, disable the Transaction IP Velocity Filter in your Authorize.Net account.
How to Disable the Transaction IP Velocity Filter
To disable:
- Log in to your Authorize.Net account.
- Select Fraud Detection Suite under Tools.
- Disable the Transaction IP Velocity Filter and click Save.
