We always love easing up your job and now, we’ve gotten better at it and therefore decided to roll out the most sought-after Audio call feature on the Zoho SalesIQ mobile app! Doesn’t that sound exciting? The audio call feature on the mobile app can be used to connect and talk to your website visitors on-the-go and can also be used to schedule meet-ups with them, without having to look for a computer and place to sit in! 

Let's dive in!

What’s great about these audio calls?

  • The audio call feature will put an end to all the day-long text conversations you have with your website visitors. Your visitors are now just a call away!
  • Text conversations are convenient but conflicts become more hostile while you're texting. You could use these audio calls instead to add a personal touch to your sales and marketing efforts and to allow you to connect directly with your visitors, as people.
  • There is always a limit to the real connection you can share with someone and with our audio call, we believe that this hindrance is overcome.
  • Visitors can leave voice notes if their calls go unattended so that operators can pick them up and answer them later.

Let's look into the Configuration

It is important that you enable these settings on your Zoho SalesIQ - website before you get the feature on your mobile app.
  • Navigate to Settings > Portal Settings and enable the Audio Call option, if you want to be able to make calls to your visitor.
  • If you wish to display the audio call feature inside the visitor chat window, navigate to Settings > Websites and then choose the website you want to enable the audio call feature for. Now, click on Live Chat Widget > Chat Window > Configurations and enable Allow visitor to make audio call . This way, your visitors can also make calls to you whenever they're stuck!

Let's look at this in real-time.
Say, you're occupied with a crucial assignment and you receive a call from Reyansh, who is a customer from San Francisco. Here, I've used the screens of an incoming call on Android as an example:
  1. You can see the company name and Zoho Business Campaign even before you attend the call, if you've integrated Clearbit and Zoho Campaigns with your Zoho SalesIQ account.
  2. Based on the potential and the lead score of the customer, you can choose to attend the call now or ignore
  3. You can choose to end the call or mute it inside the call window itself. If you want to view any of your previous chats or if you want to initiate a chat with your visitor while you're still on call, you can minimize the call window and do so.
  4. If you choose to call Reyansh again because you missed his call but he is busy, a message is displayed and you can choose to call him back later or send him a message.
          Note: Some of the features like viewing Visitor details such as company name, potential and lead score when there is an incoming call mentioned here may not be applicable if you're using iOS.

                                                                   
                                               
                                                               

Heads Up!
  • The visitor you’re making a call to MUST have an https:  connection.
  • Switch from our old widget code to our new widget code and embed it on your website to start using this Audio call feature to your advantage.
  • Most importantly, all users of the Enterprise, Professional, Zoho One and CRM Plus plans have the privilege of using this feature.
  • You cannot transfer a call that you've attended, to another operator.You can add other operators to your chat, but they will only be part of the chat and not the call.
  • In case you end a chat session while you’re on a call with the same person that chat is associated to, the call will also come to an end automatically.
  • If you want to monitor one of your operator’s chats, you can do so, but you cannot participate in the calls he makes.
  • Also, guess what? There is no end to the number of calls that you can make in a day! You can go on and on and on!
