Calculation problem - time minute to seconds

calculation problem: im trying to transfer a working formula from excel into the zoho sheet

this is to calculate the seconds from a time format input =

eg. 23:00 (23 minutes) = 1380 sec

23:30 ( 23.5 minutes) = 1410 sec

and so on


when my formula is in the Excel sheet the results are :

29:51 ||  =IF(A5="","",A5*24*60)  || the result is 1791


but if i put the same set of formula into zoho sheet

29:51 ||  =IF(A5="","",A5*24*60)  || the result is #VALUE


the # value starts if i'm using 24:00 and then onwards
