Android users can now manage events on Zoho Calendar using the native calendar on their mobile devices. This sync is provided through DAVdriod, which is available for Android 4+ versions. Those who use eM Client (for Windows 7, 8, 10 and XP), can also sync their calendars with Zoho Calendar. Mac users have even more app options, as we have extended the CalDAV sync to Fantastical and BusyCal.
With this sync, you can create events, add a location and description, invite attendees, accept calendar invites, and even set reminders in Zoho Calendar using any of the aforementioned calendars. This is a two-way sync, so the events you create in Zoho Calendar will also be reflected in your choice of calendar. You can also create events while you're offline; the data will be synced once you have an internet connection again.
At present, we offer this sync for all calendars under the "My Calendar" section only.
This sync allows you to have a complete view of your schedule, and gives you the flexibility of managing events from any app you choose. Last year, we announced Zoho Calendar's CalDAV sync for iCal and Thunderbird-Lightning.
Here's how to configure CalDAV sync for DAVDroid.
Windows users can configure eM Client sync by following the instructions given here.
Mac users who prefer Fantastical or BusyCal over iCal can follow these steps here to set up the sync.
