Classroom Sharing

I am just beginning to use Zoho and I am a little uncertain as to how I get my kids to collaborate on a document. For example, a student types an essay in Zoho and then saves. He clicks to share his document. Is the next step to enter the e-mail address of the students with whom he is sharing? Our district has policies that do not allow students to use e-mail while in school. Is there a way to bypass this feature, if they are required to access the shard document from the e-mail account? I thought I remembered reading something about setting up dummy e-mail accounts, but now I can't find that.
