Create appointment in calendar from email body text

I am looking to automate the creation of an appointment in a shared Zoho calendar if a message meets the specific sender and subject criteria and extract the information in the body of the email to create a calendar event.

I saw the custom function (Creator) in the email filters and feel like Deluge would be able to perform what I am looking for but I am not familiar enough with the scripting to know how to complete this action.  

Wondering if anyone out there can provide some guidance or direction here?
