Creating two dashboards from the same dataset with one extra filter

Hello everyone,

I'm new to Zoho Analytics, so perhaps my approach has been overly complicated but hopefully somebody can guide me in the right direction. I have a dataset of names and each name has 5 values. I have created a chart with a look up filter that allows you to choose a name from the list and it will return the 5 corresponding values. I have then created a dashboard that includes that chart with some additional text for descriptions. So far, so good.

My problem now is that I want to create the exact same dashboard (with the exact same date) for a new audience but I only want to give them the option to look up a subset of the names. So group 1 has access to all names and group 2 only to some names. In my data, I added a new column to indicate which names could be included for group 2. I then created a second chart and applied two filters. First, the username that you want to look up, and second that it's checked to be viewable by group 2. This also still works. The problem arises when I create a second dashboard with the new chart. The chart data will only be available for the usernames that group 2 has access to but the filter at the top will still show all usernames (available to group 1). The only way I can restrict this at the moment is to add a second filter in the dashboard where you choose to only include names for user group 2. But obviously, I don't want to have this filter show, so that the new audience doesn't realize they don't have access to the full data set.

How can I apply two filters in my dashboard but only allowing one filter to be visible for users to change? Or is there a different way where you automatically restrict the filter choice to now show everything?

And am I making this more complicated? Right now I have 1 dataset, 2 charts (same format, chart 2 just has an additional filter), and 2 dashboards (same format but I want to the additional filter to apply in dashboard 2 as well). Given that dashboard 2 is identical to dashboard 1, except that it only shows a subset of the dataset, could I not just create dashboard 2 with access to chart 1 but apply a filter, so that users can only filter specific names from my database?
