Creator and Tables
Good day. I am trying to create my first application. I have imported my data into Tables and am creating my app in Creator. I do not see my tables and cannot see how to write forms data to a table. Even the Workflow just uses the form.
In one of the Tables videos it seems one can create a form directly from a table. Is this the way to go? I do not want to store the data within a from. My app will handle bookings for a transport charter service and there are a lot of helper tables, mostly for lookup purposes. We transport children between boarding schools and hometowns on weekends. The parents are the app users and do the bookings for their kids.
All these options are very confusing. There are a standalone Forms component, forms in Creator and forms in Tables. Are there any Help doc, video or forum post that explains their use cases?
Please advise on the best way forward. I currently just have all the tables and a dashboard. I need:
- A Registration form for new users
- A form with buttons that serves as a menu for users to select from (not a portal/dashboard)
- A booking form for each weekend
- A user portal with some aggregations etc.
I have a reasonable idea of how to create each component and there is a lot of info out there; what I need is where to start - which Zoho app to use, how to put the forms, tables and portals together in one app. Keep in mind that I will add an invoicing/payment system later.
