Custom background for embedding views

Has anyone been able to figure out a way to customize the background color (javascript, css) when embedding a view? I'm aware that a form has the background color set as transparent, but the iframe for a view only renders a white background.

Note: I'm using the professional theme which has a "taupe?" background, but this does not show when using an iframe window.

Any thoughts?
