Customizing Home Layout doesn't save correctly

Using Chrome, I'm having trouble customizing the home screen. After changing the size and position of elements and clicking save - the home screen comes out jumbled. It doesn't come out the way I saved it. When I go back to edit it, it looks fine.

My question, why the discrepancy?
