Developer Users don't have access to the Sandbox
I recently found that although my clients are subscribed to an edition of Creator that includes the Sandbox, only the Super-Admin can create/access the sandbox, whereas the Developer User cannot.
The Sandbox is a feature specifically for assisting app developers, and my clients are hiring me to do the development and are not doing it themselves, so this limitation seems to defeat the purpose of the sandbox.
Because of this limitation, I have two options when working on an existing app:
- Log in as the super-admin, if the client will give me their credentials. This makes both the client and me nervous, and rightfully so.
- Develop on the live version of the application. This means that any mistakes, half-done features, and tests will be in the live working version of the app. It also means that, if the client has a Customer Portal set up, their customers will also see half-done features during development. This makes both the client and me nervous, and rightfully so.
Can you please modify this so that other users (especially the Developer User) can access the sandbox?
