DMS Features

Hi,

I'm using Z Docs extensively thank you. It is a useful online tool.

Are their any plans to implement simple DMS type features like those that Documentum solves....but is too top heavy. The feature I'm interested in at the moment is to be able to assign a document reference code/number to every doc I produce with Z Biz apps or import. I would then insert that code in the footer/header of the doc for reference when printed.

If the recipient then refers to a particular doc using the reference code, I could easily find it in the Z Docs app.

So I'd like a auto number/reference generator so my Z Biz users could ask for the next sequence counter and insert that into their doc. Then somewhere have a catalog to reference all the docs, with their reference codes, doc titles, description and location. Ideally a link then to open it.

This sounds like it could be whipped up in Z Creator, but was just wondering if Z Docs was planning something like this in upcoming releases.
