Enhancement: Now you can frame site exclusive trigger and routing rules!

We have incorporated a major change in our Intelligent Triggers, Chat Routing and Visitor routing section. That is, you can frame exclusive rules for every site you own rather than the entire portal. Trigger and routing features of Zoho SalesIQ are said to be day savers. As, without them your operators would be put through a great ordeal handling visitors hitting your site.

However, there are still certain factors that you might have to consider. Like,
  • Say you route the web traffic hitting all the sites you own to the operators of your portal at a stretch.
  • Your operators might have to stay vigil, make a note of visitors who had set off the trigger rules that you had framed, and more importantly on which website of yours. And answering the trigger responses of your visitors is definitely big a deal for them.
  • Volume of chat requests bombarding your operator's inbox. For instance say, you own three sites and three are for three very different industries - food, textile and travels. And for all these sites you use a single portal. How chaotic can answering of chats could be?
Well, this is why we have refurbished our trigger and routing features in such a way that you can frame site exclusive rules and provide your operators with a streamlined work environment.

Heads up!
  • The rules that are left unmapped would be deleted off from the modules during the clean up that we've planned on performing in another 30 days(1st December 2018.)
  • For the rules that you had already framed to function, it is necessary that you map them to a specific site created in your portal.
Let's try configuring a trigger rule and mapping it to a specific embed:
  • Navigate to Settings > Intelligent Triggers.
  • Click on Add.
  • Then specify a name for the trigger, choose a specific site,  choose the criterion based on which the trigger should be set off, and finally choose the action to be performed when a visitor sets off the trigger.
  • Click Save.
To map an existing rule to a specific site:
  • Navigate to Settings > Intelligent Triggers.
  • Choose a specific rule from the listed ones.
  • Map the rule to a specific site.
  • Click Save.

Try mapping all the existing rules to one of the sites in your portal and do write to us if you would need further assistance with this. Thanks much.

Best,
