Enhancements in Apptics' push notifications
Dear Apptics community,
Imagine receiving a push notification that’s just plain text: no visuals, no formatting, and nothing to grab your attention. Not very exciting, right?
That’s where rich push notifications make a difference. In fact, richer formats can significantly improve user engagement and response rates by 25%.

We’re excited to introduce a set of new enhancements that make it easier to create engaging, interactive, and impactful push notifications for your app users.
Here’s what’s new:
1) Test notifications using email IDs
You can now send test push notifications using user email IDs that are tracked as user properties within Apptics. The test notification will be then sent to the respective devices mapped to every email ID. This helps you quickly test notifications on real user devices without relying only on device tokens.
2) Rich text support
Make your notifications more expressive with formatting options like bold, italics, underline, strikethrough, "quotes," and colored text.

3) Auto-carousel with multiple images
Add up to five images in a single notification and display them as a carousel with auto-scroll for richer storytelling.
4) Live timer in notifications
Drive urgency and engagement with real-time countdown timers embedded directly within your notifications.
5) Improved targeting and tracking
Reach the right audience using segments and measure effectiveness by tracking user actions (like opens and conversions) after they interact with your notifications.
All these updates are designed to help you boost engagement, improve click-through rates, and deliver richer user experiences.
Note: Make sure you’re using the latest Apptics SDK to take full advantage of features like carousel and live timer. These features are supported from SDK versions 0.3.12 (Android), 0.17.0 (React Native), and 3.3.12 (iOS).
