Filter by fiscal year

Hi!
I need to know if there is a way to display only the invoice of the current fiscal year.
Now, if I click on Invoices, I get the list with all my invoices from the beginning of 2011 until now. So I have in the list double invoice numbers (two nr. 01, two nr. 02, etc. and next year I will have three nr. 01 and so on...). It' quite a mess!
I think it would be better to filter just the invoices of the current year, with an archive with all the invoices of the past years.
I know that I can do the same thing in the report section, but it's not so immediate and reports have not the same function as the working space "Invoices".
