Final Notice - Deprecating Authtokens in Zoho Analytics

In our commitment to continuous improvement, we've been working on to upgrade Zoho's authentication method from authtokens to a more secure OAuth. We have been communicating about this important migration process in the recent post.

This is the final post about deprecating existing Authtokens and the plan for the same.

If you are using Zoho Analytics APIs with authtokens for authentication, then it will be deprecated as per the timelines given below, in the corresponding Data Centers (DC) in which you have your Zoho Analytics account:
  • IN and CN DC - January 31st, 2021
  • EU DC - February 15th, 2021
  • US DC - February 28th, 2021
Please note that Zoho Analytics APIs will work only with Zoho OAuthTokens after the mentioned timeline. Zoho OAuthTokens work much like authtokens, but they have better security measures built-in. You can read more about Zoho OAuth here.

Who needs to upgrade:
If you are using any of the following, then you have to follow the migration steps.
  1. Zoho Analytics APIs (using authtoken)
  2. Zoho Analytics API Client Libraries (using authtoken)
  3. Zoho Analytics Upload Tool (using authtoken)

The upgrade steps are mentioned in the below link:
