Formatted resume user design

Are there any plans for making formatted resume truly user defined? I have set up our application so it has all the key details and what I want to present to clients. 

Also it will give uniformity with all resumes and thus looking professional. 

Could we not map a word document and then all the information from the application get parsed into those spots?
