Granular Channel Notifications for Zoho Desk Activities in Zoho Cliq

Dear Zoho Support Team,

We are writing to request an enhancement to the Zoho Desk - Zoho Cliq integration regarding channel notifications. Currently, channel notification settings are universal and cannot be customized based on department.

Proposed Solution:

  • Department-Specific Channel Notifications: Allow administrators to configure different channel notification settings for each department within Zoho Desk.
  • Customizable Event Triggers: Enable the selection of specific events (e.g., status updated, escalated, owner updated) that should trigger channel notifications for each department.

Benefits:

  • Improved Workflow Efficiency: Tailored notifications can help teams focus on relevant activities and reduce noise.
  • Enhanced Collaboration: Relevant updates can be shared directly with the appropriate team through channel notifications.
  • Better Organization: Clearer separation of notifications based on department can improve communication and organization within Zoho Desk.


By implementing this feature, Zoho Desk can provide a more flexible and efficient integration with Zoho Cliq, improving collaboration and communication within support teams.
