I am trying to attempt a workaround with forms being submitted on the Enter Key.

Barcode Scanners usually default to send an Enter Key command after scanning the barcode. While there is ways to configure your scanner to not do that, I want to provide usable forms on the basis that people are not savvy enough to change all that stuff.

It is basically a POS System deal. The form has a subform that lists results based on the scanned barcode data.

My main form already has a field to scan and add the details of the product in the sub form, but of course, if the enter key is appended, then the main form will submit, unless you enable the confirmation feature, but then you must dismiss the dialog box every time.

So to work around and allow the enter key be used, I thought I would have another form simply be the scan field I have on the main form, and then when you scan the barcode with your scanner, then the result gets passed to the main form and lists the details on the subform.

I am using the OpenURL script command, however the option to use "popup window" is making it open a new window on the browser.

Is there a way to make it a dialog box on the main form webpage instead, so then when the main form loads, its there in front of you more easier, it would be more visually appealing and therefore more intuitive.

I wish Zoho would just have an option to disable the enter key from submitting forms so I don't have to bend over backwards to get something working like this.
