I am a building contractor.

I want to create estimate templates that can be cloned as needed to create rapid estimates/proposals for new projects.

I think I have to create one HUGE estimate template that includes ALL the items required for COMPLETE projects.

Then, for each new estimate, I would then have to clone the ENTIRE estimate template, and then go through the estimate and delete the items that are not a part of the new project.

This approach would be very time consuming as most of my projects do not include the entire spectrum of construction.

It would be much better to have many smaller templates that I could select and combine to create one single custom estimate/proposal for each new job.

As an example, individual estimate templates for each job phase, i.e.

Template 1 "Demolition"

Template 2 "Excavation"

Template 4 "Concrete foundations"

Template 5 "Swimming Pools"

Ect..

Ect..

Ect..

I do not believe Zoho supports this as a standard feature.

Does anyone have experience accomplishing this with custom functions?

I assume this can be accomplished with custom functions?

Any help is greatly appreciated
