How can I display the last date time the data was imported

How can I display the last date time the data was imported

I would like to have a widget on the dashboard that displays the last time the data was updated or imported.

I am running on-premise and have a scheduled import to run every hour. I could create a formula column in my data table and have it update to something like Now() to calculate the date and time the data was updated. But this actually refreshes on the widget to display Now. Let's say the import engine stopped for a few hours or days, the widget should pick up the last time the data was updated or imported.
