We’re using Zoho People for attendance tracking and need to configure a standard 39-hour workweek that is structured like this:
Monday to Thursday: 8 hours per day
Friday: 7 hours
Currently, our service provider has set up the workweek as a single shift with a daily average of 7.48 hours/day to match the 39 hours/week total.
Incorrect overtime calculations, especially on Mondays–Thursdays when 8 hours are worked, but only 7.48 are expected
Incorrect vacation hour deductions, since Zoho subtracts 7.48 h per day instead of 8 h for Mon–Thu and 7 h for Friday
Employees appear to have worked overtime when they’ve simply done a normal 8-hour day
We are using Zoho People with admin privileges. Both Attendance and Time Tracking modules are currently enabled.
