How to Type Tamil or Other Languages in Zoho Docs?

I bought a Mac Laptop for my father and I am trying to find a way so he can type Tamil in his new computer. I added Tamil fonts to Mac but unable to type there. I was wondering whether it is possible to type Tamil in Zoho Docs? If so does it use Transliteration method? I am able to change the English to Tamil settings for File, Edit and other settings but unable to type in Tamil. Thanks in advance.
