Introducing API Edition, API and SMS Credits in Zoho Sign
Hello,
Today, we are excited to announce the general availability of Zoho Sign's application programming interface (API) plan
for developers and tech-savvy users. With this new plan, developers can now easily incorporate digital signatures and workflows into their own apps and systems. They can also purchase the API plan directly online and roll out their integration in less than a day.
Zoho Sign APIs allows users to perform user management, document management, and other operations directly, without accessing Zoho Sign’s web interface. We provide REpresentational State Transfer Application Programming Interface (REST API) to serve this purpose.
What's the cost?
We have simple and transparent pricing for our API plan - no monthly or annual commitment. Users can purchase Zoho Sign API credits in denominations of $50. For example, you get one hundred credits added to your account for $50. For each API signature request call, one credit will be deducted from your account. Data fetch API calls will not consume credits.

What if I want to use Zoho Sign with its built-in interface and also use APIs for integration?
You can subscribe to our Enterprise Edition (not available in other plans) and add API credits to your account. This way, you will be able to access the Zoho Sign features from our web version and mobile apps, as well as via the API.
Signers Authentication via SMS
In addition to the email and offline authentication code for signers, we now support SMS authentication as an additional level of security.
How does it work?
- Document owner will enable the authentication code option.
- Delivery type should be selected as SMS.
- Recipient's mobile number should be added.
- The recipients will receive an OTP via SMS on their mobile.
- Recipients must enter the received OTP to view and sign the documents.
- SMS Authentication incurs a per use fee of $0.2/SMS.
- Users can purchase SMS credits in the denomination of $10.
Free Trial
During the signup, all users will be provided with the 14-day free trial of the Enterprise Plan with 10 SMS and 10 API credits added to their account. They can choose to go with the general plans/API plan after their evaluation. We have also introduced a fair usage policy for the features 'Bulk Send' and 'SignForms'. Learn more.
