Invoice report... need it 'by product'. Any way in CRM to do this?

Invoice report... need it 'by product'. Any way in CRM to do this?

I don't see any way to produce an Invoice based sales report showing, for example, total sales of a product type in a year.

I'm hoping I'm simply missing something.  I can't justify the cost of subscribing to Reports Standard for $50 per month, which is what is needed to use Advanced Analytics.

Any help appreciated.
