Is it possible to make REST API call from Zoho to external system?

Hi,

Does anybody knows if there is any way to make Zoho to call REST API function on external system? We would like to receive notifications on our third-party system about events that are generated within various Zoho apps.

I wonder if something like this is even possible. I would appreciate any suggestion or information.
