Lead to Contact conversion for existing contact
Hi there,
We get a lot of leads from webinar registrations and collect some new information in a new custom field, e.g. a tick box in a field called "request webinar invites".
If the person already exists as a contact (the same field exists there), and the the field was not ticked, I had hoped that when I choose "add to existing contact" that the tick would be transferred. But it doesn't. It's correctly mapped in the conversion mapping. It works fine for new leads that are not yet in the system as a contact.
I had hopped the 'add to existing' would do just that - add additional information. But unfortunately it doesn't seem to do that. Any suggestions??
