Slow-loading websites can turn visitors away. One of the biggest culprits? Large, uncompressed images. By optimizing your images, your store loads faster and creates a smoother shopping experience leading to higher sales. It also indirectly improves SEO.

Try this today: Upload images in .webp format.

.webp format delivers high quality images in smaller sizes compared to .jpg or .png. If your images for products and pages are currently in other formats, convert them to .webp and re-upload them in Zoho Commerce.

Steps:
In your Zoho Commerce web app, go to the Storefront menu in the left pane –> Click the Files module –> Click Upload.
You can either upload images here and then use them in the site builder to place them appropriately, or upload them directly within the site builder wherever needed.
