New in Zoho Sprints: Release Management

New in Zoho Sprints: Release Management

Hello all,

We are excited to launch the next big feature on our roadmap - The all-new 'Release Management'. We can hear your 'WOW' and yes we're also happy to hit our next milestone. Agile as a concept strives in delivering a qualified outcome at the end of each iteration. This process will not only help hasten your delivery but can also stand as a potential to plan your next phase accordingly. Do you think these iterations are sufficient to run your projects?

For instance, if you have a big project with a team of 500 employees working together, managing and tracking every iteration is a tedious process. A group of members will work across diverse project goals like: New features, Enhancements, Integrations, Bug Fixes, etc. All these goals will run across different iterations.

You need something bigger to sketch your plan effectively and schedule your deliverables on time. This is where a release management acts as a blueprint to run your projects productively. You can create a release plan for every goal of your project, run different iterations in a single release, and deliver larger outcomes in a destined time frame.

Highlights of the 'RELEASE FEATURE' in Zoho Sprints

Make your release plan picture-perfect with these entities:
  • Releases run across the default Stages (A stage defines the status of your release) - PLAN, ONGOING, RELEASED . You can create custom stages (if required).
  •  Create templates for your release and use them for similar projects in the future.
  •  Add new or associate existing work items to your release.
  • View the commits and pull requests attached to the associated work items from the source code management tools.
  •  Filter and export your release anytime.
  •  View release reports and track performance of your release in the reports section.

Here's a quick video on our release module. We have provided help tips to guide you. Take a tour and start working with your releases.

Explore our release module and refer our  resource center , if you have any queries. Give it a try and let us know your suggestions in the comments section.

Happy releasing!

      • Zoho Sprints - Your team is all set to sprint ahead

Hello there, It's been a week since we launched the Zoho's only agile project management tool - Zoho Sprints. I guess you guys are loving it! Bringing agility to your team has never been this easy because you will be able to inspect, iterate, and adapt. You have a requirement; break it down into smaller units; get the work done in parallel; receive the deliverables in shorter phases called sprints. The best part of Agile is you get a chance to quickly respond to change and not stick to a fixed plan.
