No payment options appearing at the foot of invoices.

I have set up and activated a Stripe payment gateway, but there are no payment options appearing in invoices that I create. The words "Payment Options" appear at the foot of the invoice together with a greyed-out credit card symbol - but there are no options appearing below this piece of text.
