We are an importer and wholesaler/distributor of garden products. Our products are ordered in piece quantity, and are shipped out in cases/crates. In Zoho, we added a custom field under items which shows the case pack qty for each item. We would like this number to be pulled to the picklist to do the math of how many cases to pick (divide quantity ordered by case pack qty to show # of cases to pick).
Our main customer will order items in a certain quantity and we will ship out those quantities in cases. For example, if they order 24 pieces of SKU 99141, they will be receiving 6 cases of SKU 99141, because they come in cases of 4.
When we sell to growers and other distributors, the items that are packed in crates, so if they ordered 800 pieces of SKU 5114PBC, they would actually be receiving 1 crate of SKU 5114PBC. We sell the same product in quantities of 25, under SKU 5114PB. If we have the ability to have the picklist do the math of how many cases/crates to pick, we would be assured if someone ordered 800 pieces of 5114PBC, they would be receiving 1 crate instead of 32 cases.
The warehouse is in a different location than the office where we receive the purchase orders, so it is beneficial for them to know how many cases/crates to pick, as opposed to pieces. I have attached our current picklist from SAP, which shows the qty/box, qty ordered, and # of boxes of pick.
Does anybody know how to do this calculation or automation in Zoho? We really can't fully transition until this is taken care of. I have attached our current Zoho picklist for reference!
