Pre-render Zoho Reports slide show for a low-performance passive monitor display?
I'm sure we're not the only ones who are displaying a simple 6-page slide show on a "public" (in-house) monitor.
The thing is, when the slide show runs on a 10-second cycle, it will spend the first 5-7 seconds displaying only "Rendering..." and then display the actual slide for only 3-5 seconds. Given that the slide show will display the same 6 pages over and over again, this seems rather inefficient.
As far as I understand, new data is not imported continuously but only once or a few times a day. Hence, it would make sense to render the entire slide deck only once after new data has been processed, and so have a much more "lean" slide show.
Is it possible to configure this from the user side? Is it possible to request a product improvement from Zoho?
My monitor is backed by a simple Raspberry Pi running the Midori browser, but I've found that no matter which browser I use, it frequently crashes and will need to be restarted several times a day. I have set up automation for this, but it's not 100% effective.
