recurring invoice

Hi,

1. Is there a way to create a recurring invoice using the invoice API. I really hope there is but I dont find it in the API documentation

2. Is there a workaround for supporting the autobilling feature of paypal/authorize.net since invoice doesnt support it yet? Is there a workaround using the API?
