Revaluation of foreign currencies at future dates
Am I right in saying that Zoho doesn;t have the functionality to revalue foreign currencies in the base currency at future balance sheet dates?
So as an example (FX rates not accurate just for an example):
My base currency is £ but I have several bank accouts, and one of them is for USD $.
I have $1000 in that account on 1st October.
Which may be worth £700 at 1st October. On 31st October they are worth £720. So I would expect it to show on the balance sheet as £720, with the £20 difference going to a FX revaluation account.
However I can see that despite having a currency rate feed, Zoho doesn't ever revalue these foreign currency balances? I know other accounting packages that do this automatically, why can't Zoho?
I just spoke to a Zoho Expert on chat, who seemed to confirm this.
Am I missing something or is this a lack of funcitonality in Zoho?
