New Update - Wordpress Plugin

New Update - Wordpress Plugin

Hello everyone.

This is an announcement for customers using SalesIQ code on their WordPress website and have chosen to hide the chat embed using the "Hide chat widget" checkbox as shown in the picture below.

As per recent standardisation regulations on Wordpress' end, we have reviewed all the aspects thoroughly and confirmed that every facet of our product is in accordance with the standardized norms. During this review, we noticed that the "Hide Chat widget" configuration in Wordpress' settings for the SalesIQ Plugin, is a feature duplication that is also easily attainable with in-product settings.

FAQ:

1. I have not chosen to hide the chat widget on my WordPress website. Should I be worried?

No, you are good to go. The new changes do not apply to you and will not affect you in any way.
