Hello,
As many zCRM users, I handle a lot of online meetings - many of them using my zMeeting subscription.
Althought you guys say there is an integration between zCRM and zCalendar, the fact is that is poorly designed, built and incomplete.
Integration assume something that is not even close to the real life experience: sellers and people in general have one calendar. An appointment in my "CRM" calendar is, in fact, just an appointment. The only differentiation here is that a CRM schedule usually is connected to a lead or a deal. That's all.
It would be useful (and smart) if zCRM allow a complete view of a person calendar not only the so-called CRM events. It is a matter of basic user experience - sfdc, microsoft, pipedrive understand this concept better than zoho.
Another misconcept (or bad implementation) is that zCRM calendar DOES NOT allow to generate an online meeting link directly. I can do it in zCalendar, but when creating a CRM event, it is not possible - and I am trying to use nothing but only ZOHO TOOLS.
Summarising, the ideas and suggestions are:
1. Enhance zCRM and zCalendar integration by in addition to the current behaviour, allow user to consolidate all events in one single, integrated, and streamlined calendar with 2way sync. "CRM" and "no CRM" events are possible to be seen both in zCalendar and in zCRM.
2. Enhance zCRM calendar to (1) create automatically the online meeting room (zMeeting, gMeet, Teams, etc) and (2) to store the access link also in CRM calendar
3. When using zMeeting, feed CRM with the meeting transcript automatically, suggesting tasks, appointments and opportunity updates using Zia.
