Sending campaigns to contacts filtered by account data
Hi
We want to send campaigns to contacts based on fields in accounts in CRM. For example, we want to send campaigns to contacts based on account type - which might be prospect, customer, partner, lost customer, etc.
My marketing team inform me that they can only send campaigns to contacts using views - and that the views cannot support filtering by account data. This has resulted in a work-around of trying to replicate account data at the contact level - which results in inconsistent data, manual processes and is just plain nasty! They don't want to load the contacts into Campaigns either as that will then create duplicate leads.
Are we missing something, either in functionality or a workaround? This must be a common use case.
I'd really appreciate some guidance as this issue slows us down and produces much manual data updating which shouldn't be necessary.
