Service Account Admin for API Calls and System Actions
Hello,
I would like to request the addition of a Service Account Admin option in Zoho product. This feature would allow API calls and system actions to be performed on behalf of the system, rather than an active user.
Current Issue:
- At present, API calls and system actions are tied to a specific user. This can lead to confusion, as it may appear that the actions were manually performed by the user (e.g., adding comments to a Desk ticket).
- Additionally, this setup can clutter the user's account with unnecessary notifications for actions that are automated or system-driven.
Suggested Solution:
- Introducing a Service Account Admin that is not linked to any particular user would ensure that API calls and system actions are clearly system-generated.
- This would prevent misleading attribution of actions to real users and reduce unnecessary notifications.
This feature would improve the clarity and organization of automated actions within Zoho, while also enhancing control over system-driven processes.
