Setting up a recurring journey

Hey all. I am still having issues with setting up the journey. I am using a date based field in CRM as the trigger. I then want to wait 1 year for the first email. If they click, then wait 1 year and send new email. If there is no reponse from the first email, then another email goes out at 6 months. If that email is not clicked then it stays on a 6 month rotation. Once clicked it will go back to the annual emails. Here are a couple pics of where I started the idea layout and what I have so far. Any ideas of how to make this loop?
