Sharing my calendar with a group does not work

Sharing my calendar with a group does not work

If I share my calendar with specific users my events show up in their "Other Calendars" section.  But if I share it with a Group, my events do not show up in any of the Group members' calendar.  This appears to be true in both the old and new interfaces.  Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
This works:
