Something like the Linkedin Recruiter 'Hide' Feature

The Linkedin Recruiter  'Hide' Feature is so useful.  As you think of different search strings you can hide the candidates you've already looked at (so you don't keep seeing the same candidates as your search parameters change)

I have tried different hacks to do achieve the same thing in Zoho Recruiter. Interestingly you can search candidates that are not associated with a job but as soon as you add boolean the associated job goes away.

I have also tried adding tags to the ones I've looked at.

Has anyone found a best practice for this? (a way to hide candidates I've already seen for a search)
