Subscription Statuses - Dunning

Subscription Statuses - Dunning

How are other companies handling the scenario when customers don't pay and dunning takes over?     Our issue is that in my situations, we want our customers to be able to catch up their late payments and continue their subscription after the dunning process has cancelled their subscription.    Since customers can't "Un-cancel" an account that has been cancelled due to dunning, how are you handling this use case?

We think  "Suspended" Status would be helpful for accounts to be moved into after the dunning process.  The suspended status would not be a permanent as 'cancelled' and would allow the customer to pay their past due charges and put their subscription back to a paid status.

Maybe there is some kind of solution out there that i'm just not aware of.  Interested in hearing other's solutions.
