Time Zone problem - which to choose
Sorry for the seemingly dumb question.
If I live in New York, which time zone should I choose if I live in NY? I am not seeing a choice for Eastern time that switches daylight savings time. Right now we are not in DST and all of our calendar entries are being changed from the real time we input to an hour off. When I go into the calendar default time zone it is shows the selected choice of Eastern DST and a separate for Eastern Standard. When we enter a calendar entry from our iOS devices via CalDev, we see New York time zone as the default but when it synch's with Zoho calendar, it changes to GMT -5... if we then go back in on our iOS device and change the time zone to New York and edit the time back, it stays correct. We are trying to avoid needing to edit the time twice.
Will I really have to go into default time zone settings twice a year to keep my entries accurate? Please help with a better setting:-)
