Tip #2 - View Project Activities as Timelines
You may sometimes want to view your own list of activities in its chronological order. Say, you want to check the date on which you published a particular blog or you want to view the support reps reply to a customer ticket.
All that you need to do is simply click on the user profile from anywhere inside the product. If you happen to click on a user from a particular project, project activities related to ONLY that project is listed.
Say, you want to know the activities of a particular user across all the projects in a portal. What do you do?
Simply click on that specific user from the
Home tab. Voilà! You can catch a glimpse of all that's happening across all the projects in the portal. Activity Stream helps you to know who is doing what.
You can also click on a user profile in Feeds and view the complete activity stream of the selected user. And you can send a direct message to the user or Chat or Follow the user.
When you are into a projects dashboard, you can filter all the recent project activities based on the activity stream. You can see a list of all the project activities and its collaborators.
What is displayed in the activity stream?
All changes in the project along with their time such as:
- Status comments
- Created, edited and closed Milestones, Tasklists and Tasks.
- Forum comments
- Task completion percentage
You can know what's up with everyone at any time.
Share your feedback, if you have used this feature.
