Tip of the week #1 - Six steps for Inbox Zero

Attaining Inbox Zero in time-critical shared inboxes is crucial for your team. Here are six simple things you can do with Zoho TeamInbox to achieve Inbox Zero with ease:

Assign thread owners
When every thread has an owner, the work items received in your team are properly distributed. This way every member can focus only on the items assigned to them.

Take advantage of the 'Assigned to me' view
When you belong in multiple teams and inboxes, there is a high possibility of email overload. Use the 'Assigned to me' view to only see threads that are assigned to you. Emptying this view is achieving your goal of Inbox Zero.

Snooze threads
Keep your space clean only to have conversations of high priority. Snooze every other thread and deal with them when they become the priority. You will be notified when their snooze time is up.

Collaborate with team
Discuss with your team on the responses you should make. Chat with them from the comments section or share your email drafts with them for their review. This helps you make sure that you send out quicker replies by getting aid from your team.

Make faster replies with canned responses
Draft replies for common queries, save them as templates, and use them to make a quick reply. You and your team don't have to type in the same content repeatedly.

Archive settled conversations
Get rid of finished conversations from your inbox by archiving them. Every time you archive a thread, you are one step closer to Inbox Zero.
