Tip of the Week: Numeric, Currency, and Date Range Filters
Zoho Analytics' chart filters allow you to filter numeric, currency, and date values on a range basis. When you add a numeric and currency column as a filter, the Range section of the Filters tab will allow you to filter data based on numeric ranges into which the values in the columns can be segmented Eg., 0 to 100, 101 to 250 etc. The Filters tab will list a suggested range of values for filtering. You can also add your own custom ranges for filtering using the Add New Range button.
When you add a numeric, currency, or date column as a filter, a list of available ranges will be listed inside the Ranges tab. Let us see how to customize the range values.
Customizing Range Value - Filters
- Add the required numeric filter.
From the Ranges tab, you can either select the existing ranges or add a new range by clicking Add New Range.

Next we will see how to handle Date ranges with a User Filter example.
