Tips and tricks #63: Hold and Drag to select elements in the Show app for iOS
Hello everyone!
Welcome to another tips and tricks article. In today's article, we will learn about the Hold and Drag function in the Show app for iOS.
The Hold and Drag option lets you select multiple elements on a slide quickly. Once they are selected, you can cut, copy, move, delete, and format slide elements, like text, images, and shapes.
With the Show app for iOS, you can duplicate an entire slide with all the same elements. But if you'd like to duplicate only a certain section of the slide, then you can use the Hold and Drag feature. You can also use this feature to quickly apply uniform formatting options to selected elements.
How do you drag select slide elements?
- Open your slide.
- Hold and press an empty area on the slide.
- Drag to select the required elements.
- Cut, copy, move, delete, and format the selected elements.
- To deselect or re-select individual elements, click on the element after performing hold and drag to select.
Note: Videos used in a slide cannot be selected using Hold and Drag.
