Using chosen user filter as a parameter

Using chosen user filter as a parameter

Hi
I have a report that is used to calculate profit over a period.
One of the custom fields I have in "Accounts" is "Monthly rate".


In the report I have a user filter that allows to choose the period of the records (work log) to show.
However, if for example the Monthly Rate is 1000, and a period of "Last 3 months" was chosen, I would like to show 3000 (the rate* 3 months).
How can this be done? Can I use the value of the chosen user filter in a formula?
