Viewing ultrawide ((remote) screen from smaller resolution?

I am trying to access my home desktop (5120 x 1440) from my 1080p laptop -- I need some files from the home PC while I'm away.

The ultrawide display is SO small on the laptop display that it's VERY hard to read. Is there any way to "Zoom in" on the remote screen?
