What's New in Zoho Inventory - April 2017

Track the status of your orders in a much easier way

         1. View shipment and invoice status in sales orders 

With this update, the sales orders will also show the invoice and shipment status along with the order status.  Now, you can track your orders and their status conveniently at one place.

   2. Custom view of sales orders

Apart from default list view options for sales orders, you can also create your own custom views now. For example, you can segregate your sales orders and view it based on different warehouses, customers and even order status.

 'Out of Stock' warning.

Set pop-up alerts while creating transactions for items that are out of stock. Based on your mode of stock tracking, the 'out of stock' warning will pop-up. I.e If your mode of stock tracking is 'Invoices and bills', the warning pop-ups while creating invoices and if it's 'shipments and receives', it'll pop up while creating a package.

Custom templates for package slips and bills. 

Now, you can have customized templates for your package slips and bills as well. You can edit and customize the colour, font, font sizes, headers & footers, background images, information to be displayed and more. Add your brand flavour to all your official documents.

Display additional item information in purchase orders. 

You can display the custom fields in item's page in your purchase orders now. Apart from item name and description, additional information of an item like item code, carton/box number stored in custom fields can be displayed in purchase orders as per your vendor's request.

Enhancements in barcode management

We have made some enhancements to barcode management in Zoho Inventory. The minimum number of digits for a barcode is reduced to 7 from 10 and alfa-numeric barcodes are also supported now.
